Situated in the foot of Skiddaw in the beautiful Northern English Lake District
Ravenstone Manor is a generous and character full 19th century manor house in three hectares of grounds backing onto the foothills of Skiddaw and looking west across the valley to Bassenthwaite lake and the fells beyond.
Easily reached from the M6 and a short journey from Keswick it is ideally situated for walking, hiking and biking in the Northern Lakes with walks including a Wainwright starting from the end of our drives. Our aim is to offer a comfortable atmosphere free of formality. Quiet, relaxed and far away from the bustle of everyday life.
Our Dining room serves a changing selection of simple dishes all using the best locally sourced produce with a good wine list to compliment the food. In addition there is a well stocked Bar and a generous Sitting room in which you can relax, read, chat or play with a wide selection of board games.
All in all a place for quiet evenings and early nights after days filled with adventure and fresh air.
We hope to welcome you soon.
